Thank you for visiting our Bali tour guide blog , I would like to share our tour experience toward Ubud and Uluwatu temple .

We suppose to start by 9 am to explore Ubud starting with visiting Batubulan village ( Barong dance performance ) , art villages , temples . But our client requested to skip all of this places and visit Ubud to see the Ayurveda doctor . Our client had a problem with her skin because of an alergic and getting worst every day . She need to see the doctor immediately . Someone intruduce to her about Ayurwedic treatment in Ubud . Ayurveda is one of the oldest medical treatment , the traditional healing based from Vedic teaching ( Vedic or in Bali called Weda is our holly book , we are Hindu ) . The Ayurveda clinic is located in Ubud , Nyuh Kuning village , just behind the monkey forest sanctuary .

We need one hours drive from Sanur to Ayurveda healing place , it was a worst traffic since we start a little bit late . Traffic is another view of tourism in Bali . Slow drive through Batubulan village , where along the street we could see a various stone carving statue . Batubulan village is well known as a village of stone carver home industry . Next village we drive through Celuk village that well known as a center of Silver smith home industry . Its amazing that every house we passed through have a large sign of " Gold and Silver " , " Gold and silver & Made to order " . Seems like every family doing the silver and gold home industry for the living . After Celuk we passed through Batuan and Lod Tunduh village , the place of traditional painter . Batuan is referring to the oldest traditional painting style in Bali island . Along the street there are many painting houses , galleries with a beautiful painting on canvas .

We arrived at Ayurveda clinic at 12 : 00 and she start her treatment and consultation . The treatment done at 13 : 00 and its time for lunch , lunch she had at Bebek tepi Sawah . Bebek tepi sawah restaurant is one of the recommended restaurant in Ubud . Located about 20 minutes drive away from Ubud center .
After lunch we drive toward Uluwatu Temple , drive through highway on the sea of "Teluk Benua " with green and lush view of Mangrove forest . After a while we stop at Padang - Padang beach for short visit and picture taking .
Than after done with Padang padang beach we arrived at 17 : 30 at Uluwatu temple and purchased the entrance ticket . We enter the temple area among the crowd , we don't have much time to explore the temple area . We have to purchase the ticket for the spectacular Kecak and fire dance performance before to late . Kecak dance is one of the most spectacular tourist dance show in Bali , perform every day at 06 : 00 pm in open stage beside Uluwatu temple overlooking stunning view of sunset over Indian ocean .

Kecak dance is the spectacular dance involved more than 50 persons dancer who make a circle and chant " cak - cak - cak " over and over rhythmically . While inside the circle ather dancer perform the clasical traditional dance narated the story of Ramayana evic story . When Dewi Sita ( King Rama wife ) kidnapped by King Rahwana ( demon king ) and King Rama and his monkeys army lead by Hanoman ( white monkey ) attack the Rahwana and his kingdom to save Sita . In the high point of the dance when Hanoman cached by demon king's army and burn him in fire but with his power he destroy the fire and demon king's army .
Dance finally finish after one hour duration , every body look happy and satisfied with the spectacular performance .
Walking out from the stage with the crowd of more than 1500 peoples , we get back to the car after a while and drive back to the Hotel .
We get back to the Hotel after an hour drive .
Going back home after drop of our clients at their hotel , rest and ready for another adventure trip for the next days .
